Jussi Askola is a former private equity real estate investor with experience working for a real estate investment boutique in Dallas, Texas; and performing property acquisition in Germany.

In addition to having passed all CFA exams, Jussi holds a B.Sc. in Real Estate Finance from University Nürtingen-Geislingen (Germany) and a B.Sc. Construction and Property Management from University of South Wales (UK). He has authored award-winning academic papers on REIT investing, been featured on numerous financial media outlets, has over 30,000 followers on SeekingAlpha, and built relationships with many top REIT executives.
Samuel Smith is a licensed Professional Engineer (Texas) with experience in commercial and residential land development, including designing, managing, and analyzing investment projects from the due diligence phase through completion, including single family home subdivisions, industrial warehouses, restaurants, convenience stores, campuses, and multifamily properties.
This background gives him a unique "boots on the ground" perspective on real estate investing and with it an ability to conduct effective due diligence on individual properties.
Samuel holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Mark Roussin is an active Certified Public Accountant in the state of California with over 10 years of experience working as a CPA for public and private Real Estate corporations.
Prior to that, Mark was with Ernst & Young for 6 years. Mark uses his specialized real estate accounting skills to go beyond the surface numbers of REITs and sort out the worthwhile from the wobbly. In addition to being an active CPA, Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting from California Baptist University.
